About the Author

Mireille Toulekima has had a 20 year, accomplished international career in the oil and gas industry with assignments in Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia. She previously worked on important oil and gas development projects in developing and emerging markets where she gained her experience in Local Content. She is a Key Enabler with respect to Local Content in the oil and gas industry and has worked with oil and gas government representatives, energy council representatives, senior managers and corporate affairs representatives. Mireille is also an advocate for diversity and women’s advancement in the oil and energy sector. Since May 2015, She is the founder and Director of  the non-profit organisation “Energy Angels” Foundation with the objective to reach out and sponsor under-priviledged African girls to study subjects related to the oil and energy field in prestigious and high profile schools and universities across the world.

A sought after speaker at national and regional conferences on Local Content, Women’s Leadership and Education, Mrs. Toulekima has been identified and recognized as one of the women of influence in the Oil and Gas industry in Africa.
